About Dr Erzetic

Dr Erzetic is a registered specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMS) with the Medical and Dental Boards of Australia (AHPRA). He holds primary degrees in Dentistry and Medicine and completed his specialist surgical training in 2001. Since then, he has been a visiting medical specialist (VMO) at the Mater Adults and Children's Hospitals with a foundation role in establishing the Oral and Maxillofacial unit at the new Queensland Children's Hospital.

 

Concurrently, he has run a successful solo practice from the largest private hospital in the southern hemisphere, Greenslopes Private Hospital. He also has branch practices at the Mater Redlands Hospital and North West Private Hospital and regularly operates at Pacific Day Surgery and South Bank Day Hospital. He also provides Oral and Maxillofacial surgical services to the New England area via Armidale Private Hospital. Dr Erzetic has a strong commitment to training and continuing his education.

 

His achievements include:

• Supervisor of Training at the Mater Adults Hospital
• Deputy Chair of the Binational Board of Studies for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Training
• Chair of the Training Committee for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Training
• Senior Examiner for both Primary and Final Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Examinations
• Director of Training of the Queensland Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Training Committee
• Chair of the Queensland Regional Surgical Committee
• Past Queensland branch of Australia and New Zealand Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ANZAOMS) Secretary 

In a broader capacity, Dr Erzetic has been involved in the training of more than 40 surgeons in the last 20 years.
